The Don Ha Project Sales Team surpasses all others in the RE/MAX New Zealand ranks for business growth. Now, for an outstanding performance through six months of 2019, the project marketing team has risen to international stardom.
The team from RE/MAX Revolution returned from the fifth annual RE/MAX Asia Convention recently with a major award, taking the number two spot for a residential sales team in the global network’s Asia Pacific region.
“It is an incredible feeling, competing on the world stage and reaching this level,” Mr Ha said. “We are current sitting fourth in RE/MAX globally, which involves over 100 countries and over 125,000 agents.
“We are aiming for the ‘World number 1’ spot as we head towards a full year of trading, so I think we’ve made a good start.
“My team did this – Steve Starke, Mala Maharaj, Hemant Parikh and Milan Maharaj – not me alone,” said the RE/MAX Revolution broker owner, “and I very sincerely thank them along with my office management team and entire staff.”
RE/MAX Revolution has topped the ranking of New Zealand RE/MAX office four times this year already.
Mr Ha was a keynote presenter at the conference attended by more than 400 in New Delhi, India. He shared his story of how he came to New Zealand at 12 years of age, a refugee who spoke no English, with the message of ‘Thing Bigger’.
“Being invited to speak was the highlight of my three days,” he said, “and I was overwhelmed by how many agents from so many countries come up to me after I’d spoken.”
Real estate business owners and agents from approximately 30 RE/MAX regions across the globe travelled to India for the event, with delegates representing the 18 regions in the Asia Pacific – South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Guam, Hong Kong, Macau, China, Japan, Taiwan, India, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Australia and New Zealand – plus other countries including the US, Canada, Greece, Finland, Italy, Egypt, UAE, Estonia and Turkey.
More than 20 invited speakers were on the program, from the Asia Pacific, Europe and the US, and the event began with the traditional and spectacular flag ceremony. Mr Ha carried the New Zealand flag.
“The Convention, and our time in India, was such amazing experience. The global exchange is crazy, meeting so many countries and, more importantly, meeting the key country you want to do business with.
“We have achieved what we have with RE/MAX, the greatest network in the World.
“We also presented RE/MAX India with a cricket bat signed by all the players on the New Zealand team,” Mr Ha said.
This has been a stand-out year to date for Mr Ha and the RE/MAX Revolution team since the well-known Auckland real estate identity opened his ‘super-office’ last year.
As a business enterprise, RE/MAX Revolution continues to set new benchmarks for service and performance both locally, within the RE/MAX New Zealand network and the RE/MAX network globally.
“RE/MAX is recognised as one of the leading real estate franchise companies with the most productive sales force in the industry and a global reach through it 125,000-plus agents,” he said. “We’re proud of our standing in a worldwide network that continues to be a leader in market share, agent productivity and international expansion.”
